Can I enroll and study for CeMAP even though I have no mortgage experience?
Yes you can. Regardless of your educational or career background, you are welcome to enroll and study for CeMAP with CBTA. Our experienced and skilled tutors combined with our tailored tutorials will assist to develop you for the industry, however, more study time will be needed to assimilate the wealth of knowledge.
How should I study for my CeMAP exam?
The CeMAP training is class based with some recommended and guided personal revisions at home.
In what order should I take the exams?
Generally we recommend taking them in the order of CeMAP 1, 2 and 3. CeMAP 1 is the broadest ranging syllabus and usually requires the most study time, so delegates normally feel that this exam is better behind them. We also recommend that you study for 2 and 3 together because the syllabuses are closely interwoven. At the end of these modules, you will seat for the CeMAP 2 test, once passed, you will take the 3rd module afterwards.
How do I obtain the text books and book my exams?
Once you have completed your enrolment with us for your training, we will provide you with the examination’s regulators details, the IFS [ifs School of Finance (www.ifslearning.com)] for a membership registration, they will in-turn formally register you for the modules exams and supplies your text books and other related materials obviously for a fee. We may be able to supply your text books subject to a separate arrangements.
Where can I take the exams?
You can take all three exams at one of the Pearsons Exam Centres throughout the UK. These Centres are where you take your Driving Theory Test amongst others. You are advice to contact the IFS for an up to date list.
What happens if I don't pass a module at first time?
Though we can boast of between 85% - 93% pass rate on our courses, but to the benefit of our candidates and our uniqueness amongst other, our scheme of “STAY ON THE COURSE TILL YOU PASS” is a peace of the mind scheme which allow you to re-sit any of the modules with us for FREE if you fail any of the modules.
How is CBTA different to other training providers?
We are not only committed to teach you to pass CeMAP and qualify, but we will also assist you to build a successful career as an AR (Appointed Representative) or to join one of our successfull networks of brokerage and estate agents at the end of your course (subject to your success in all the modules).
What are my options once I qualified?
When you are successfully qualified, we will either put you into employment or give you a career as an AR (Appointed Representative) or to join one of our successfull networks of brokerage and estate agents , or you may choose to go and work for a bank, building society, estate agent or another mortgage company, or you may decide to start your own business as an AR..
